| Sheila
McNaughton was taught the art and joy of sewing by her Irish mother, Bridget Bayes. From
an early age she watched her mother create so many wonderful things: beautiful curtains
and drapes for their home, furniture slipcovers, lovely clothing for five children,
enchanting Halloween costumes and stylish outfits for Barbie dolls. Bridget claims
she sewed out of necessity. That may have been true, but she sewed with such
pleasure and delight that it was not a chore. Sewing was just one of the ways she
showed the deep and passionate love she felt for her family. |
| Sheila had
worked in management in the medical industry for over 20 years. Like her mother, she
sewed to decorate her home and provide gifts for her family. Sheila viewed sewing as
a way to be creative, relax a little and leave the work day stress behind. Now, with
the introduction of Magical Moons, things have changed. She spends her days
and sometimes her nights, in the wonderful and artistic process of making moons. |
| Sheila has
dedicated her Magical Moons to the memory of her marvelous and loving father, Denver
Bayes. She thanks her mom, Bridget Bayes for all her love and inspiration.
Most of all, she thanks her incredible husband, John, for always providing her with
support, love and encouragement necessary to make all of her dreams come true. |
